George William Cobb’s golf course architecture career took root during his military service, designing several courses at basecamps. George Cobb designs reach over 150 notable Southeastern courses including Augusta National’s Par-3 Course, and Quail Hollow.

- Numerous PGA and other tournaments held on Cobb courses
Mr. Cobb was born in Savannah Georgia on January 2, 1914 and ultimately made his home in Greenville South Carolina with family before his passing on January 15, 1986.
